I saw this one reel
It said
Did the cavemen have depression?
Did the first-ever civilization have depression?
Did the first-ever kingdom go through depression?
Then how did depression come into existence?
When we chose comfort, the by-product was depression!
Earlier people used to be working out all the time!
They were doing activities.
For long the only thing they cared about was survival.
Even when survival was out of the plate,
keeping themselves physically active was the thing.
Doing their core tasks every day,
passing on knowledge to the next generation,
They were always at war,
physically not mentally!
And then today
men do not have to care about heir survival,
they do not have to worry about their next meal,
they live with all the comforts humans could possibly have
all the comfort the ancestors couldn't even dream of,
but they are not physically active.
They can't even get a glass of water on their own,
they need to be spoonfed about everything,
and they find ways to stay in their comfort zone.
they run way from hard work.
They are at war too,
but mentally!
They are depressed,
because they don't work out,
they don't keep their body active.
Even going to the store
which olny takes a 5 min walk,
they use a vehicle.
They don't have to be super fit to fight wars
Not at least war every month.
Start working out more,
start lifting weights,
start spending time in nature,
and you will find yourself out of depression.
Because that was not depression,
that was you blinded by all the comfort.
Hardships are necessary to sail through life,
just as the brain is made stronger by solving complex problems,
the body is made stronger by giving it challenges often!
